Emails we send to architecture offices

We contact architecture offices to introduce our visualisation services. For this we use business contact details that the office publishes itself, usually on its own website: the office name, the general office email address or the email address of a named person, their role, and public information about the office's projects.

Purpose: to introduce our services to the office and to answer if they reply.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in business-to-business contact (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Source: the office's own website or other public professional sources (Art. 14 GDPR).
Your choice: you can object at any time, simply by replying to our email or writing to office@aronlorincz.com. We then stop contacting you, and keep only your email address and office name on a do-not-contact list so that we can respect your request.
Retention: if there is no reply, we delete the contact details no later than 24 months after our last message.

Personal pages for offices (aronlorincz.com/p/…)

Some of our emails contain a link to a page prepared for one office. The link contains a short code that tells us which office the page was made for.

Only if you click Accept in the cookie banner, the page records: that it was opened, how far it was scrolled, which sections were in view, active reading time, which buttons or links were clicked, and the screen width. This is stored together with the office code, a random session number and a random visitor ID. We do not record your name or IP address, and nothing is used for advertising. We use this only to see whether the material was useful to the office.

Cookies: ala_consent stores your choice (12 months); ala_vid is the random visitor ID, set only after you accept (12 months). If you click Decline, nothing is recorded. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). You can withdraw it at any time.
Storage: in our own Google Workspace account (Google Sheets via Google Apps Script). Retention: 12 months.

Contact form

When you use the contact form on aronlorincz.com, we receive your name, email address, company or studio name (optional) and your project description. We use them only to answer your inquiry and to discuss a possible collaboration. The form is delivered to our mailbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co).
Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Retention: up to two years after your inquiry has been handled, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.

Analytics on aronlorincz.com

Our main website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, general traffic sources). It runs only if you accept cookies in the banner; the site works fully without it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not store personal data or persistent identifiers, so it runs independently of the cookie banner.

Hosting, fonts and bookings

The website is hosted by Netlify. To deliver the pages securely, their servers briefly process technical data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. The main website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers; the office pages use fonts stored on our own server. If you book a call, the booking is handled by Acuity Scheduling (aronlorincz.as.me) under its own privacy policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Service providers and transfers

We use these providers, who process data on our behalf: Google (Workspace, Analytics, Fonts), Netlify (hosting), Cloudflare (analytics), FormSubmit (contact form) and Acuity Scheduling (bookings). Some of them are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its correction, deletion, restriction or transfer, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest, in particular to being contacted (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to office@aronlorincz.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, Falk Miksa utca 9-11, 1055 Budapest, naih.hu) or with the authority in your own country.
