# ALA — Aron Lorincz Ateliers

> High-end architectural visualization studio based in Budapest, Hungary, working with leading architecture practices worldwide since 2014. Founded by Áron Lőrincz, who built the visualization department at Herzog & de Meuron in 2010 — a partnership that continues today. The studio's manifesto "On Visual Direction" argues against the smooth, generic perfection of typical renders and AI-generated images: honest, specific, art-directed images in the tradition of architectural photographers like Ezra Stoller. Honest images over safe ones — visualization as pre-validation of unbuilt architecture.
